Sometimes I've notice that delamere sterilised/whole milk in glass bottles with the blue screw top can have an unpleasant taste. Not all the time when it's good it's pleasant in tea but sometimes and it seems to be getting pretty often there's a slightly creamy nasty taste to it .Any ideas as to why ? It seems to seems to be a lottery when you buy a bottle now if you get a pleasant cup of tea or a tea with a nasty creamy aftertaste why is this ?

i received this e.mail An Undercover Investigation Found Horrific Abuses at This Allegedly 'Ethical' Goat Farm Sign Now graham, An undercover investigation by the Animal Justice Project has shed light on seemingly horrific conditions and instances of alleged animal abuse at a major goat milk brand, Delamere Dairy. Inside filthy enclosures without any enrichment, goats wallow in misery. Though the facility is surrounded by lush green fields, the farm is zero-grazing -- the goats trapped inside can only look out and wish to roam free, but are never allowed that basic right. To make matters worse, goats at Delamere Dairy suffer from an unrelenting breeding process from which their milk is harvested, meaning nanny goats are constantly, forcibly impregnated and then milked raw. Goats with sore udders, unnaturally large pregnancies, and some pregnant goats that were literally immobile were observed. And perhaps the most horrific of all -- the undercover footage taken by this amazing organization caught the "Spring massacre," during which tiny baby goats were slaughtered in front of their traumatized mothers, some left squirming in pain as they slowly died. Consumers deserve the truth about the products they are buying -- there must be a formal investigation into Delamere Dairy. Sign now to tell the UK Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs: investigate these horrific abuses and protect innocent goats! I have bought this milk numerous times and it's always been alright. I bought some from Asda on my online shop, when I went to use it , it had a horrible metallic taste. I contacted Environmental health but due to Covid they couldn't take a sample but said if I felt unwell I should go to A&E . I was worried of what was in it especially in light of recent stories. I contacted the company direct and gave them all the details. They said they would check the samples ,after a couple of days I asked if there was an update and was told not yet , but nobody else had complained, but as it's a long life milk people could have it sitting in a cupboard. I emailed them again after a week of waiting and told them I could have been really ill so it's a good job that I'm not as the company are useless!! It doesn't take a week to check a sample these are obviously a company who don't care about the fact my milk was disgusting ,I heard nothing back from them. I have now reported this to Trading Standards as a company should have a policy that it's customers come first and not to insinuate they are lying about a potential dangerous milk.

Very disappointed with my experience, not the taste of the product but the Origin and branding. The milkshake products come in a glass bottle and are branded with delamere dairy. As a resident in Cheshire you would imagine this means it’s a local product that uses Cheshire if not British Milk. Upon further inspection the products are made between Belgium or Germany. The sheer impact not only to the local economy but also the environment for shipping a glass bottle from Germany to the U.K. filled with product is absurd. A real cowboy of a company showing deception to the public and no care other than for profit. Disgrace!
